EMMA HARRIS – SPORT PSYCHOLOGIST

Starting Sport Psychology Tasmania in 2011, Emma has worked with a wide range of athletes and coaches, from junior level to elite, professional and Olympic level. Her work with athletes and coaches has covered areas of individual and team performance, personal and professional development, injury management, and general well-being.

Emma is the Sport Psychologist for Cricket Tasmania, and Tasmanian Institute of Sport, as well as the recommended service provider for state organisations such as Tennis Tasmania, Tasmanian Sailing, and Gymnastics Tasmania.

Along with her work in sport psychology, Emma also acts as the Welfare Coordinator for AFL Tasmania, providing support to athletes in the High Performance Programs with guidance in education and well-being.

  • Bachelor of Psychology and a Masters in Applied Psychology (Sport and Exercise)
  • Registered Sport Psychologist with AHPRA and is a member of the Australian Psychology Society
